Mr. McCauley Wins Two Gold Medals

August 26th, 2005

Mr. Mason McCauley, while in Reno, NV, at Master Wheatley’s Summer Camp participated in a tournament where he took a gold medal in patterns and a gold medal in sparring.  The tournament started with the Junior students competing and finished with the black belt competition.  It was a rare opportunity for many of the local junior students to witness black belts competing.  Everyone had a great time and we are all looking forward to returning again next year.

July 16, 2005 in Reno, Nevada, Mr. Mason McCauley successfully tested for his 3rd Degree Black Belt at Master Wheatley’s Summer Camp.  Mr. McCauley along with eight other candidates were put through the rigors of testing by demonstrating, patterns, kicking, step-sparring, ho-sin-sul and breaking.  Mr. McCauley also took the honor of overall high-test score.

After the test, the newly promoted blackbelts, along with other practitioners from around the United States and Mexico took part in an outstanding seminar taught by Master Wheatley.  It was the grand finale to a week of training at Master Wheatley’s annual weeklong summer camp.
