2007 Nationals/World Qualifier Results

The Junior/Senior World Qualifiers, hosted by Master Gordon Jue on April 28 and 29, 2007 has provided the United States with their 2007 World Team. Approximately 62 competitors from around the United States, made up of Junior and Seniors will be headed to England to compete in the World Competition in early August of this year.
Washington State, under the guide of Mr. Mason McCauley 3rd Dan, brought back 9 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals and 4 Bronze Medals. Mr. McCauley took the Gold in both Patterns and Sparring and Silver in Men’s Team events, and will be headed to his 3rd World Competition as a competitor. Mr. McCauley hopes to again return with some World Champion hardware.
Other students who qualified for World’s are Ms. Caitlin Charnley-Ovens, 1st Dan who took the Gold in Sparring and Silver in Patterns. Mr. Riley Todd, 2nd Dan took Gold in Sparring and Gold in Specialty Breaking. Both have qualified for the US Team.
In non-qualifying events, Mr. Chad Eggers 6th Gup took Gold in Sparring and Gold in Patterns. Ms. Emma Stephens 7th Gup took Gold in Sparring and Gold in Patterns. Mr. Scott Dixon took Bronze in Sparring, Patterns and Breaking.
We are proud of our students and the wonderful job they did representing McCauley Taekwon-Do and Washington State.
